Huge mall with famous stores such as the Pokémon Mega Store and lots of food choices.
Good food and many different goods. Main focus is clothing though.
One of my favourite shopping malls in Tokyo. Perfect for a young girl fashion-conscious and searching for something for herself and her dearest as well. The mall is big so at least several hours would be necessary. I like the variety of shops present, there are different styles of clothing including cute, evening, office, outdoor etc., accessories, presents, anime-related goods and many other things to choose from. The pricing is okay, not too expensive, but the quality is good too.
Very nice commercial center, really big and you can find a lot of things to do. The paying view from the top (60th stage) is cool but the free view from 59th is the same !
There are aquarium, planetarium, shops, cafes and restaurants. Good place to enjoy during weekends.
Some shops give a good discount and some tasty restaurants are available, however we use the meeting room for our discussion class
A family friendly shopping mall. Kids can be entertained at Pokemon shop, and other kids friendly gaming centre, etc.
Sunshine city has to be one of my favorite shopping malls because of its sheer size and diversity in stores and restaurants. This shopping mall is also worth your attention because of the aquarium / zoo at the top and also its cute museum. Check it out! You can really spend a nice afternoon here shopping and later on in the arcades right across the street
Love ds shopping mall. Its been a long time I'd visit again. Memorable .relaxing cozy place😍❤🍴👚👠👙👢👜💄
Big and nice shopping mall. It holds expositions and also a lot of shops and nice restaurants. The shop disposition was a bit chaotic but that's a given for Japan. The restaurant selection was nice too! We had a great time there and made some cool purchases.
It's like a labyrinth of stores and hallways. You could get lost easily. And don't forget to bring lots of cash because of so many nice things.
Really nice mall with plenty of seating available. The Pokemon Centre Mega Tokyo is located here. There's a nice convenience store/supermarket inside the mall. Easy to get to via the Metro.
Great shopping mall, there are restaurants and nice shops to purchase things.
This was a pretty neat mall. I was impressed at how open and clean it it was. There were lots of different kinds of shops and restaurants as well as nice sitting areas. We stumbled across a water fountain show going on a few floors down. It was a giant screen show different nature pictures with music playing nearby. Water would shoot up from the bottom at different intensities timed to the music. It was pretty neat.
There are a lot of shops and plenty of good food here! Make sure to visit the aquarium and observatory on the roof as well!
It's new years when I came and so many sales here. Crowd people gathering to buy, eat and play
Had a great time visiting this shopping mall! So much to see and do! Food was so good!
Great view from Sunshine Building 58th floor
We visited J-World inside Sunshine City for One Piece. As a fan I super enjoyed the venue of course, although it is a bit for the young fellas. Staff are cute and friendly, and my favorite part of the trip are the anime-themed foods, which also tastes good.
Best building to go to on a rainy day. Filled with Namja Town (indoor theme park), a huge roof aquarium, and a pricey planetarium. This mall seems endless. There's also a huge Pokemon center located inside the mall. Warning: extremely crowded on the weekends
Not sure why this shopping centre is recommended so much for tourists. If you don't have children, this place is pretty boring. It's fine but nothing special.
Very big store with a variety of delicious food and well priced goods (souvenirs and other miscellaneous items)
It's OK I don't really get what the hype is all about I don't really think it's worth going out of your way to check in out but if you're in the area and reward than you might want to check it out there are some fun stores there but not really all that much to do. Most of the fun stuff is on the top floors in the rest of it is just like a regular mall or department store
Bustling mall with tons of high end brands. Also, the Pokemon Center (2F) was awesome!
The place is clean like any other Japanese hotel. My room was pretty tiny but comfortable. There's a coffee maker, refrigerator, TV, hairdryer, etc. There's also a Family Mart convenient store. You can eat at the store, don't need to eat in the room. Then there's the giant mall attached to the hotel. You can pretty much stayed indoor
The aquarium was okay. It's too far from Ikebukuro station. They have so many shops, at least one of which you will like
Great variety of shops which are often offering sales. Home also to the Pokémon Mega Centre. Close walk from Ikebukoro station with lots of food options around it as well.
Great mall with something for everyone. Shopping for everything, endless of restaurants and cafés, entertainment in form of VR gaming arcades, aquarium, cinema... You can spend days in there.
A very big shopping mall. It's easy to get lost. But i eventually found all the shops i was looking for, there is also a floor only dedicated to restaurants and a few places for kids. There is something for everyone here.
There's some popular shops in Sunshine City. Such as Disney Shop, Pokemon Shop, etc. When I've been there when pokomen movie was been screening so the pokemon shop was extremely crowded. And there really longest line i had been through for a shop in my life. Also i had been here on the last day of conan screening movie, and you can meet n take a picture together with conan doll on the second floor. Then if you are hungry and willing to grab some cheap food, you can find out the "Subway" on the first floor. :D
This place was crazy busy. I stopped at the Pokemon store for my son. It had everything, great place for kids. It's basically a large Mall if your from the states.
Came here exclusively for the pokemon center! Great visit with lot of shops and food to check out
We went here specifically to go to J-World!! Who ever love One Piece, Dragon Ball and Naruto and wants your kids feel what you feel, this is the place. Not sure if my kids enjoy this place like I do 😂
Its a mall but what i love on this mall.was the JWorld which is located inside. Youll be amazed once you get inside, lots of anime theme activity!
Very large mall. One can easily get lost if it weren't for the maps and the information desk. I visited before Christmas so it was all beautifully decorated. There's a great variety of shops- from the 100 yen store 'Daiso' to international brands like Gap and Toys r us to designer Japanese brands. Lots of restaurants and cafes, and also convenience stores. Great place to shop or simply chill with friends/family.
If you're looking for the Pokemon center and Jworld Dragonball Z. This is the place to find them.
One of big stores in Ikebukuro, they have everything from household stuff, toys, clothes and other stuff. There is Pokemon center inside.
They label sunshine city as a city within a city, really it's just a large shopping mall complex with quite a few attractions. Pokemon mega center, nanja town, an aqauarium and a slew of other things can be found inside.
VR always makes me feel wonky, but I did the reverse bungy and enjoyed it. Great views, and fun stuff which will hold the family's interest for an hour or two. Restaurants on level 59 were too pricey for us, but there are many more reasonable options on level 1 or on the streets between here and the station.
We had some udon and it was up to Kagawa udon quality, loved it. And went to the Cat House in Tokyu Hands!
Great mall with pokemon centre and heaps of other stuff like rillakuma store. An older shopping mall though
Shopping mall with aquarium. Pokémon store snoopy store. Great location where u can drop your kids off and go shopping near by
Neighbor mall. But observation deck is fun to visit
Everything you need for food and gifts fashion etc with convention center and hotel. There is a bus from narita going here for 3500Yen
Decent shopping center with wide selection of stores. Would be great if they could mark the exits better. Cool fountain with pretty shows.
Could have more deals but is fairly large and fun to explore
Great food variety and pokemon store whaaaaaat!?!?!
Great shopping mall. Japanese style, with a little of everything being sold.
A large shopping area with an aquarium, lookout/observatory and many restaurants. The Pokemon Center is here and there are a lot of other store with Japanese souvenirs.I would recommend the lookout on the 59th or 60th floor. It has a nice view of Tokyo and at 1200 yen, it's much cheaper than going up Tokyo Skytree.
I went many times for specific stores, like Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo, but it was a very comfortable, its a big and cute mall, i love to walk there and looking the coffee shops, as well. Very close to Ikebukuro.
